Pramono: Barito Market Relocation Has Long Been Socialized

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung conveyed that the plan to relocate Barito Market traders under the management of Perumda Pasar Jaya had been decided by the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"August 3 was the final deadline and we will hold groundbreaking shortly,"

He noted that the relocation had been socialized a long time ago.

"As I mentioned, once the Jakarta Government made the decision, we allowed the South Jakarta Mayor and his team to carry out socialization. It has been going for a while," he said at Soemantri Brodjonegoro Student Sports Center in South Jakarta, on Monday (8/4).

Pramono explained that the traders had agreed to be relocated on August 3. Meanwhile, the groundbreaking for the integration of three major parks, namely Leuser, Ayodia, and Langsat parks that will take place soon.

"August 3 was the final deadline and we will hold groundbreaking shortly," he added.

Therefore, he instructed South Jakarta Government to promptly complete the relocation process for Barito traders.

"As for the bird market in Barito Market, I have asked the South Jakarta Government to handle it and I'm certain they will get it done," he stated.
